I found this shell on Topsail Beach, NC, the colors and texture just spoke to me. I caught the shell with sterling balled prongs and placed it on a layer of copper and a layer of sterling silver, both textures with freeform edges. Each link of the chain is soldered with 4 sterling links on the left and 2 on the right. The rest are copper; ending in a large toggle clasp. All patinated to achive a earthy look. Pendant is 2 3/8 inches wide by 2 inches tall. The chain is 22 inches long.
